The Franciscan Custody in the UK co-operates fully with the Catholic Safeguarding Advisory Service (CSAS) in England, Religious Life Safeguarding Service (RLSS), and the Scottish Catholic Safeguarding Service (SCSS) to ensure the safety and welfare of all children and adults at risk.

Safeguarding staff within the Custody liaise closely with the statutory agencies to ensure that any allegations of abuse are promptly and thoroughly investigated and, where appropriate, survivors supported and perpetrators held to account.
